WHAT IS AN ART DIRECTOR?
Art Directors are dreamers with an imagination gone wild. They get paid to think, imagine, explore, tinker and scribble.
They work on the campaign from the beginning and receives details about the client, product, target audience and required advertising message, which helps to shape the advertising campaign. More info
WHAT DOES A COPYWRITER DO?
Copywriters are storytellers. They love words and craft them masterfully as they blog and tweet. They know lines from a thousand films and watch old Tv shows on YouTube.
They team up with an art director to brainstorm ad concept ideas for commercials, websites, print ads, phone apps, billboards or other any medium to solve the client’s problems. More info
Back in the day of graphic designers, paper, X-acto knives and handwritten type were the norm. Now tablets, animation, vectors and the web are added to the mix.
As the world moves more into the global multimedia matrix, designers. A well trained digital graphic designer needs to feel comfortable moving from the real world to the virtual. More info
